Finally you can found our Album Preview for the upcoming Voices from the Lake Project feat. Donato Dozzy and Neel. Voices from the Lake is an intensely personal project borne out of the long-standing friendship between two Italian DJ/producers, Donato Dozzy and Neel. The project extends and deepens their explorations of ambient techno, with an emphasis firmly placed on the ‘techno’ component. Listening to Voices from the Lake is an immersive experience, as the textured beats and carefully crafted rhythms have a deeply hypnotic effect. The open, fluid structure of the music gives it an organic, natural feel, transporting you to more peaceful surroundings. With the music of Voices from the Lake there is a completely natural progression and flow, nothing is forced or hurried. The sounds develop and unfold at their own pace, creating a powerful sense of tranquility.The genesis of the Voices from the Lake album can be found in the mountains of Japan, where they made their live debut at The Labyrinth festival in 2011. This album recreates and refines that performance. For 2012 they are preparing a new live performance for a series of special shows.

With the upcoming album from Voices from the Lake (aka Donato Dozzy and Neel) this is the feeling to be realised from this engaging piece of music. The two artists have a fantastic feeling for deep and sensuous rhythms, something they have explored so thoroughly with this ambient techno project that they have quite exceeded expectations.

Voices from the Lake was first performed at the reknowned Labyrinth festival in Japan this year and is now presented in the album format. The complete album shows how emotional and multi-dimensional electronic music can be on Nova days. It’s more than just a strong statement from two accomplished artists, it’s an emotional journey designed for you to lose your grip with reality in a most positive way.

Cassegrain also delievered a massiv good mix on Smoke Machine Taipei. Cassegrain originated via a chance meeting at the Red Bull music Academy in Barcelona. The project explores the ground between dark, raw techno and UK influenced sounds. For the A side of their debut 12" on Mikrowave, the pair worked with dubstep luminary Benga, who provided his vocals for the first time. Cassegrain's second 12" ('Dropa' EP) is out now on one of the most essential labels operating within techno, Prologue, and has been gaining support across the board from the likes of Speedy J, Lucy, Cio D'Or, Edit Select, Peter Van Hoesen, Terence Fixmer and many more.

The tracks that work for me are the Milton Bradley and Pendle Coven remixes. The Milton Bradley remix sounds dangerous and deep, I particularly like the deep low-end. The Pendle Coven remix, well...I can 't wait to open one of my DJ sets with this track, it's perfect to capture the audience, it sounds very wide, engaging, in short, like Pendle Coven.

On the same dark and minimal techno tip as the Giorgio Gigli release - also on _Prologue - that I was raving about (and to, if you must know) last time, Juho Kahilainen'sKuolonkellot EP (listen) plumbs the depths and comes up with treasure in its fists. 'Kalma' is the more driving of the two cuts here, a rising four-note bassline percolating menacingly beneath gaseous exhalations and twisted electronics. It's the hypnotic title track that impresses most, though, its lachrymose bleeps calling to one another between astringent hi-hats and ghostly chimes.

Hi everybody

we just thought it would be a wunderfull idea to start our own Prologue Music blog. You can expect some news about our releases, arists and planing but more important we will do regular podcats from our artist and label community. So you will get some fresh sound on a regular basis.

Furthermore we try to give you some recommandations about new fresh vinyl and digital releases we recongnized as cool music and communicate our monthly charts from
our very nice artist community.

As first we will start with a first Podcast soon, which is a cooperation mix between Dino Sabatini (Modern Heads) and Tom Bonaty (Prologue Label Owner), a wunderfull 2 hour podcast based on typically Prologue atmospheric deep techno tunes.
